Caaguazu, Paraguay
Global Missions Project - Using music to spread the hope of Jesus
Our Paraguay project in July was a great one that began two years ago with our first visit there. Our mission partners are 5 young men who not only host us but are also a fine singing group called aDoriOs. They are based out of a Mennonite community in a city called Campo 9 where there is an established large community of Mennonites who are totally self supported by their agriculture and other business acumen. We greatly enjoyed our first visit with them and this one took it to another level of connections, sharing, and planning for a future trip there.
Mission Trip Report
from Linda Chapman
This year our national partners took us into a town where no Baptist church has been founded. Our Romanian pastor we have worked with for a number of years was very good about thanking the mayor and town authorities prior to the opening of each clinic as they are the ones who give us permission to work in their village. Our Bulgarian partners were very pleased with the connections that were made.

Our team just returned from our July 3-13 trip to the northern part of Romania. The mother church we assisted is located in the scenic city of Suceava, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. It was a busy trip, ministering in four villages, each with their unique challenges. Our team exhibited great flexibility as each person took on their special skill sets to manage varying situations. We truly became one team--Americans and Romanians--as we learned to quickly set up and prepare for the day's work.
Mission Trip Report
from Donna Dean
My mission trip to Bolivia was amazing, just as all my mission trips have been. It was different and not what our team had expected. We had so many plans, and I might add that they were “perfect” plans. But as usual, when WE think WE have the plan, God usually has a different (and better) plan.
